Daniel Perez Vicencio is a researcher and educator specializing in data science and cardiovascular science. He began his academic journey at Harding University in the U.S. with a B.Sc. in Cellular and Molecular Biology and an M.Sc. in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics at the University of Aberdeen. Daniel then pursued an M.Sc. and is currently doing a PhD in Cardiovascular Science at the University of Edinburgh, where he focuses on using machine learning to enhance triage strategies for acute chest pain.
