Biography
Shanliang joined Leiden University Medical Center, Laboratory of Experimental Cardiology as PhD student in the summer of 2021 after obtaining Bachelor degree in Measurement techniques and instrumentation from Tianjin University (China) and a Master's degree in Electrical engineering/Microelectronics from the Technical University Delft (Netherlands).
His PhD training will focus on the design, development and application of micro-optoelectronics for optogenetic studies into cardiac arrhythmias. His project is a collaborative effort between our lab and the Electronic Components, Technology and Materials (ECTM) group, Department of Microelectronic engineering of the Technical University of Delft.
