Biography
Dr Ammar Zaka is a Basic Physician Trainee at Gold Coast University Hospital. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at Bond University in 2021, graduating with high distinction, and has pursued further post-graduate qualification by completing a Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) at the University of Sydney. Alongside full-time clinical training, he has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and abstracts, and has consistently presented at international and national meetings. He is pursuing advanced specialty training in Cardiology, and is currently undertaking a PhD focused on emerging risk stratification methods in interventional and structural cardiology.
