Doctor Ismail Raslan

Dr. Ismail Raed Raslan is an Assistant Professor and Consultant Cardiologist, where he serves as the Division Lead of the Advanced Heart Function Unite. His clinical focus includes Advanced Heart Failure, Heart Transplantation, Mechanical Circulatory Support, and Cardio-Oncology. Dr. Raslan obtained a Master’s degree in Translational Medicine in Cardiology from the University of Alberta. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at McGill University and Cardiology training at the University of Toronto. He then pursued fellowships in Advanced Heart Failure & Heart Transplantation and Cardio-Oncology at the University Health Network in Toronto. He is actively involved nationally and internationally in clinical research, medical education, and the development of cardiovascular guidelines. He chairs and participates in several institutional and national level committees dedicated to advancing the field.
