Dr. Zadeh is the Director of Cardiac CT at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in the Division of Cardiology and Professor of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Zadeh has dedicated his career to coronary heart disease and together with Dr. Fuster, he shaped our current understanding of acute coronary event pathophysiology and associated implications for evaluating and treating patients with clinical manifestations of coronary artery disease, including the paradigm of a risk continuum from atherosclerosis. Dr. Zadeh changed his focus from invasive to noninvasive coronary imaging with the rise of CT coronary angiography almost 20 years ago. He was a key investigator of the landmark CorE-64 international study and he co-directs the Johns Hopkins Cardiac CT Practium. He is the interim editor-in-chief of JCCT.
