Mauricio S Abello, MD, FESC, became a Cardiologist in 1999. He underwent further training in Cardiac Arrhythmias at Hospital “La Paz” (Madrid, Spain, 2001-2004). He got de PhD degree (doctoral thesis) at 2009. He is director of the Arrhythmia and Electrophysiology Unit of the Cardiology Service at Hospital Fleni and at Sanatorio Finochietto (Buenos Aires, Argentina). He is Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) since 2007. He has more than 400 contributions as congress abstracts and articles published in indexed journals in the field. He is a manuscript reviewer of more than 15 medical journals. He has received 8 research and educational grants and research awards. He is past President of the Working Group on Arrhythmia (Argentinian Society of Cardiology), past President of the Argentinian Congress of Arrhythmia and he is the President of the 2021 Argentinian Congress of Arrhythmia /LAHRS Scientific Sessions. He is also member of the LAHRS board since 2021.
