Biography
As a Health Scientist and Researcher, Valérie Drost specializes in optimizing care pathways for patients with advanced heart failure. With a focus on improving survival rates and enhancing the quality of life for patients supported by Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVADs), Drost's research seeks to develop evidence-based approaches that align with the unique needs of this vulnerable patient population. Her research involves interdisciplinary collaboration, bridging clinical practice and research to refine screening, referral and home monitoring.
