Biography
Dr. Adaobi Ofordile was born on November 10 1985 in Enugu, Nigeria. Growing up, she was always fascinated by crime shows and how the knowledge and application of medical science was used in crime-solving. Dr. Ofordile obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree in 2013, and a doctor of Medicine degree in 2025. Currently, she is an Internal Medicine & Cardiology resident at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital where she is part of a dedicated team that provides General medicine and specialist cardiology services to that patient population. She also teaches and mentors undergraduate medical students. Her research interest areas are heart failure, cardiorenal syndrome and interventional cardiology. She is passionate, conscientious and committed to making a positive difference, reason she regularly participates in charitable events, particularly medical outreaches in rural and marginalized communities in her country. She speaks Igbo and English fluently, and loves to travel.
