Mr Alessandro Maggi

Medical student at the University of Brescia, Italy. He did a clinical research project in the Cardiology department at St. George’s Hospital in London for 5 months (from September 2023 to February 2024). He wrote a clinical study on acute heart failure admissions and he submitted an abstract to Heart Failure Association Congress in Lisbon 2024 entitled “Prognostic value of the Rockwood Clinical Frailty Scale in patients with acute decompensation of heart failure’’ and an abstract to ESC Congress in London 2024 entitled "Increased frailty is associated with risk of hospital-acquired infections and death during heart failure hospital admissions".
