Associate Professor Sorina Mihaila Baldea

I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Carol Davila Bucharest, Romania, and PhD in cardiology for 4 years now. I have been a fellow at the University of Padova, Italy, under the supervision of Dr Luigi Badano for two years, 2012-2014, after winning a EACVI Research Grant and an ESC Training Grant. My principal research area consists with three dimensional echocardiography. I am now a Committee Member of the Heart Imagers of Tomorrow of the EACVI and a member of the ESC Working Group of Valvular Heart Disease. I hope to expand my acitivities inside the ESC and EACVI community and to further improve my research activity in the field of cardiovascular imaging.
