Dr. Vinko Boc, Ph.D., is a cardiology and vascular medicine specialist. He heads the Catheter Laboratory for Endovascular Interventions at the Clinical Department for Vascular Diseases, University Clinical Centre Ljubljana. After completing his specialization in internal medicine in 2007, he received his certification in cardiology and vascular medicine in 2017. In 2020, he passed the European Angiology Exam and obtained the CESMA-UEMS European diploma. Dr. Boc earned his Ph.D. in 2021, focusing on invasive vascular interventions in peripheral arteries. He has authored or co-authored numerous scientific and professional articles in international and domestic journals. He represents Slovenia in the European Society of Vascular Medicine and serves on the Slovenian Society for Vascular Diseases scientific committee. His research includes peripheral artery disease, endovascular interventions on peripheral arteries and veins, and evaluation of the nature of restenosis.
