Professor Xiang Cheng

Xiang Cheng (M.D., Ph.D.) is Chair of Department of Cardiology, Deputy Director of Institute of Cardiology, Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Biological Targeted Therapy of the Ministry of Education. He is a Special-Term Professor of the Chang Jiang Scholars Programme by the Ministry of Education (2017) and has received the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (2015). Professor Cheng is the Chairman of the Chinese Society of Immunology, Cardiovascular Immunology Committee; Deputy Chairman of the Chinese Association of Pathophysiology, Cardiovascular professional Committee. Professor Cheng has published over 70 SCI articles as the corresponding author in journals such as Circulation, J Am Coll Cardiol, Eur Heart J and so on. Professor Cheng contributed to books such as Internal Medicine (Eight-Year Program), Cardiovascular Medicine (3rd edition), Cardiology, Clinical Immunology, and received 10 national invention patent.
