Dr. Chiara Fraccaro is a Contract Professor in Cardiology at the University of Padua and a full-time interventional cardiologist at the Department of Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular Sciences. She specializes in structural and coronary interventions and is actively involved in multimodality imaging. She earned a European Doctorate in Cardiovascular Sciences with a thesis on transcatheter aortic valve replacement and completed a scholarship at CHU Charles Nicolle in Rouen, France.
She is Deputy Director of the postgraduate course on the Interventional Treatment of Structural Heart Disease and serves on the EAPCI Educational Content, Courses, and Webinars Committee. A member of major scientific societies, including GISE, SIC, ANMCO, and EAPCI, she also contributes to the Lancet Commission on Atherosclerotic Heart Disease.
Dr. Fraccaro has authored over 130 indexed articles and multiple book chapters. She speaks Italian, English, and French and enjoys sailing in her free time.
