Mr Thuan Nguyen Van

Mr. Nguyen Van Thuan is Deputy Director of Research and Development (R&D) Department of USM Healthcare Medical Devices Factory JSC, based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He has a bachelor of engineering in Mechatronics from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. He has been working for USM Healthcare since 2013 and successfully led and developed a wide range of products from coronary stent systems, balloon catheters, IV catheters, and other medical disposables. With years of experience in the medical device industry, Thuan has had experience in almost every technical aspect, including product design and development, prototyping and manufacturing, design verification and validation, technology transfer, product realization, project management, and product-related regulatory approvals. He enjoys playing sports, reading, and traveling during his free time. His native language is Vietnamese and can speak English fluently.
