Mrs Lucia Osoro

Lucía Osoro, PhD, is a telecommunications engineer, researcher and lecturer working at the intersection of healthcare, technology and health economics. She holds a PhD in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), with research focused on digital health and Value-Based Healthcare in cardiovascular medicine. Her career combines academic research and teaching with international industry experience in medical technology, digital health, market access, business development and healthcare innovation. Her current areas of interest include Value-Based Healthcare implementation, health economics, digital health technologies, patient-reported outcomes and the evaluation of healthcare innovation. Since 2024, she has been a member of the EHRA Advocacy, Quality Improvement and Health Economics Committee, contributing to initiatives at the intersection of quality improvement, health economics and value-based cardiovascular care.
