Doctor Christine Mummery

Christine Mummery is Professor of Developmental Biology at Leiden University Medical Centre. Her research concerns multidisciplinary approaches to understanding heart and vascular development, the differentiation of pluripotent stem cells into the cardiac and vascular lineages and using these cells as disease models. She is a member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Science, was editor in chief of the ISSCR journal Stem Cell Reports until 2018 and is president of ISSCR.
