Biography
Rafael Almendra-Pegueros holds a BSc in Nutritional Sciences from the Universidad Veracruzana (UV) in Mexico and a MSc degree in Clinical Research from the Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi (UASLP) in Mexico. Currently, he is a Phd student in Pharmacology (Basic Research-Cardiovascular diseases) at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and the Institut de Recerca Sant Pau (IR SANT PAU), Barcelona, Spain, in the Regulatory Mechanisms of Cardiovascular Remodelling Group. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Spanish Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics (RENHYD).
