Biography
Rod Taylor, MSc, PhD is Professor of Population Health Research, University of Glasgow. He is Adjunct Professor at University of Southern Denmark.
He has published over 500 peer review articles and one of Rod’s main research interests is the development and evaluation of secondary prevention and rehabilitation strategies for heart disease. He is currently co-Chief Investigator (with Prof Chim Lang) for the NIHR funded REACH-HFpEF trial (https://www.gla.ac.uk/schools/healthwellbeing/research/mrccsosocialandpublichealthsciencesunit/programmes/complexity/complexinterventions/reach-hfpef/); is the Director for the Cardiac Rehabilitation Cochrane Review Centre (https://www.gla.ac.uk/researchinstitutes/healthwellbeing/research/mrccsosocialandpublichealthsciencesunit/programmes/complexity/crreviews/) and co-lead (with Prof Sally Singh) for the NIHR PERFORM programme developing and evaluating an exercise rehabilitation programme for people with multimorbidity (https://le.ac.uk/perform).
