Luigi Alberto Iossa is a cardiologist who began his specialty training in 2021 and started working in interventional cardiology in 2022. From the very beginning of his training, he developed a strong interest in clinical research, focusing on coronary physiology, percutaneous coronary interventions, and structural heart interventions, including TAVI.
His academic work explores non-hyperemic physiological indices, valve prosthesis–patient mismatch, and real-world outcomes in interventional cardiology. He is fluent in Italian and English and is currently learning German. Outside the hospital, he enjoys early-morning running and travelling, especially to coastal destinations.
