Aleksandar M.Lazarevic is Professor of Medicine/Cardiology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Banja Luka, Banja Luka, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He graduated and received his MD from the University of Zagreb (Croatia). He is Board certified in internal medicine and cardiology. He is former Chairman of the Clinic for Cardiovascular Diseases, University Clinical Center in Banja Luka (2003-2008). He established in 2007. first cath lab in the Republic of Srpska. At present he is Head of the Cardio Internal Medicine Clinic in Banja Luka. He finished his residency in Internal Medicine 1996 in Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and Belgrade University Postgraduate Medical School of Cardiology in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. He received training in the field of Echocardiography and Cardiac catheterization in National Cardiovascular Center in Osaka, Japan (1998 – 1999) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Satoshi Nakatani.
