Angharad Griffiths (Thomas) is a specialist cardiology pharmacist at Prince Charles Hospital, Merthyr Tydfil, Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. She studied pharmacy at Cardiff University and qualified as a pharmacist in 2010. Subsequently over the past 10 years, she has gained several qualifications; Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy in 2012, Non-medical Prescribing in 2016 and a Postgraduate Diploma as a Practitioner with a Specialist interest in Cardiology in 2018. She was appointed as a specialist cardiology pharmacist in 2014 and has continued to work at Prince Charles Hospital. Since working for the health board, she has set up an innovative pharmacist-led diagnostic heart failure clinic. She also has an interest in lipid management post ACS and atrial fibrillation. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and regularly attends the gym. She can also speak fluent in welsh.
