Biography
Ibrahim Aykac is currently a MDPhD candidate affiliated with the Center for Biomedical Research and Translational Surgery at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria. His primary research focus lies within the realm of cardiovascular diseases, encompassing heart failure categories such as heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF), diabetic cardiomyopathy, pulmonary hypertension, and the diabetic-induced alteration of vascular function. Additionally, he investigates dysfunctions in coronary arteries and endothelial dysfunction, using different methods including wire Myography, pressure Myography, advanced Echocardiography and more.
