Biography
Davide Liborio Vetrano, MD, PhD, is Associate Professor of Geriatric Research at Karolinska Institutet and group leader at the Aging Research Center. His research focuses on multimorbidity, frailty, and dementia within a geroscience framework, integrating biological, clinical, and functional dimensions of aging. He leverages longitudinal cohorts and national registers to identify mechanisms driving disease accumulation and functional decline, and to develop predictive models and targeted interventions. He has authored over 260 publications and contributes to international initiatives including the Lancet Commission on Frailty.
