Dr Argyrios Ntalianis graduated the medical school of the University of Athens, Greece in 1995. He completed his fellowship in Cardiology and his phD thesis in 2006. From 2007 to 2010 he was subspecialized in Interventional Cardiology in Cardiovascular Center Aalst, Belgium and from 2010-2013 in Heart failure in the 3rd Cardiology Clinic, University of Athens, Greece under the mentorship of professor John Nanas. He worked as a cardiology consultant and interventional cardiology consultant in Saint George's Healthcard NHS Trust, London, UK and in Kingston Hospital NHS Trust, Surrey, UK from 2013 to 2014. Since 2017 dr Ntalianis is working as a Cardiology Consultant in Alexandra Hospital, Department of Clinical Therapeutics, Athens, Greece. He is of the founders of the Heart Failure and Cardio-Oncology Unit as well as the Coronary Artery Disease and Cardiomyopathy outpatient Clinic in Alexandra Hospital. In 2022 he was elected president of the Greek Working Group of Heart Failure.
