Biography
Dr. Beatriz Vaquerizo Montilla is Head of Cardiology at Hospital del Mar (Barcelona) and President of Euro4C, a PCR-affiliated group focused on complex and calcified coronary lesions. She trained at ICPS (Paris) and McGill University (Montreal) and has over 20 years of experience in complex coronary and structural interventions. She has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications in impact-factor journals and has presented widely at international congresses. Dr. Vaquerizo is active in major scientific societies, serves on educational committees, and regularly contributes as faculty at leading international meetings. Her main interests include complex PCI, CTOs, calcium modification, and DCB therapy. She is also an active member of the European Bifurcation Club and multiple CTO working groups, contributing to ongoing education and research in these challenging fields.
