Julie Rayes holds a Ph.D in thrombosis and hemostasis from the University of Paris VII Denis Diderot in France. She is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences at the University of Birmingham and holds a British Heart Intermediate Fellowship. The research in the Rayes’ group focuses on the mechanisms by which pathogen-associated molecular patterns and damage-associated molecular patterns alter platelet activation and functions in immunothrombosis and thromboinflammation.
