Biography
I have been serving as assistant professor at the University of Rome Sapienza, Italy since 2011 where I am currently involved in cardiovascular basic and clinical research. In particular, my scientific interests are - circulating microRNA and their role in cardiovascular pathologies - sports cardiology - cardiac involvement in metabolic syndrome - mitral valve prolapse - cardiovascular non-invasive imaging, in particular echocardiography and CMR
