Professor Fawad Farooq

Dr. Fawad Farooq is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and Professor of Cardiology at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Karachi, Pakistan. He obtained his FCPS in Cardiology in 2005 and has over two decades of experience in clinical and interventional cardiology. He is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and serves as a supervisor and examiner for cardiology training programs. Dr. Farooq is the General Secretary of the Pakistan Cardiac Society and has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications in national and international journals. He is a frequent speaker, moderator, and faculty member at regional and international cardiology conferences and is actively engaged in public cardiovascular awareness initiatives through digital media platforms.
