Jules currently works as a PhD candidate within the lab of institute director Prof. Dr. Daphne Merkus, at the Institute for Surgical Research within the Walter-Brendel-Center for Experimental Medicine (LMU Klinikum, Munich, Germany). His PhD project focusses on the synergistical development of left ventricular dysfunction by chronic kidney disease and diabetes; atrial fibrillation and microvascular dysfunction.
