Doctor Chieh-Mei Tsai

Dr. Chieh-Mei (Jessica) Tsai is an Internal Medicine resident at Danbury Hospital, CT, and a Research Collaborator at the Mayo Clinic's Echocardiography Laboratory in Rochester, MN. She began her residency in June 2024 and her collaboration in September 2024, following a Research Fellowship at the same laboratory from August 2023. Dr. Tsai earned her Doctor of Medicine from National Taiwan University, where she developed a passion for cardiology, especially echocardiography and valvular heart disease. Her clinical and research endeavors are directed towards leveraging echocardiographic technology to improve diagnostic and therapeutic outcomes in valvular heart conditions. Proficient in English and Mandarin, she effectively collaborates with international peers and helps disseminate valuable research findings across global platforms. In her leisure time, Dr. Tsai enjoys cooking, skiing, and e-scootering, activities that offer her balance and personal fulfillment.
