Ms Maria Ioannou

Maria Ioannou is a Cardiology Resident at Limassol General Hospital, Cyprus, and a PhD Candidate in Environmental and Public Health at the Cyprus University of Technology. She holds an MSc in Heart Failure, Cardio-Oncology and Cardiac Rehabilitation from the University of Thessaly. Her clinical and research interests include cardiovascular medicine, echocardiography, heart failure, cardiovascular prevention and clinical research. She has undertaken advanced training in echocardiography and is actively involved in cardiovascular research, with peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international scientific congresses. Outside medicine, she enjoys travelling, reading, exercising and volunteering. She speaks Greek and English.
