Webinar
Learning objectives
After watching this webinar, participants will be able to:
learn the principles of strain analysis by echocardiography and by cardiac magnetic resonance imaging; and
learn the main clinical applications of strain analysis of the different cardiac chambers (LV, LA, RV) and the specific values of the two different imaging modalities.
Needs assessment and expected educational outcome
Myocardial strain analysis is becoming part of a standard echocardiographic examination, including assessment of left ventricular (LV), left atrium (LA) and right ventricular (RV) function. Understanding the principles behind this analysis and the main clinical application is, therefore, crucial. Furthermore, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging can now provide myocardial strain analysis and is, therefore, important in understanding how and when this assessment is of additional clinical value.
This webinar is designed for cardiologists working in the field of cardiovascular imaging, and those wishing to update their scientific knowledge on the topic.
During the webinar, you will be encouraged to send your questions by chat and interact with our key opinion leaders who will provide live feedback.
Technical settings
The webinar is available on PC and tablets. The use of a smartphone is not recommended.
To answer the MCQs during the live, you must allow pop-up windows.
A high-speed Internet connection is required (minimum 2 Mbps).
