HFA Advanced Heart Failure course 2023
This course aims to offer a comprehensive training course on advanced HF covering identification, initial management, referral criteria and final treatment in advanced HF care centres with heart transplantation and ventricular assist devices.
Learning objectives
· Understand how to identify and evaluate advanced heart failure
· Know when to refer patients for heart transplant evaluation
· Learn how to manage acute and advanced heart failure with medical therapy and mechanical circulatory support
· Engage in the management of complex advanced heart failure cases
· Gain hands-on experience with hemodynamic evaluation and interpretation of data
