Context – With the objective of attaining better quality of llfe for patients, interventional cardiologists should be aware that the 2024 ESC Guidelines on CCS implemented a Class I/A-recommendation for use of intracoronary imaging in complex lesion subsets for patients undergoing PCI. This is part of an initiative to provide healthcare professionals with enhanced procedural knowledge into the safe and effective utilisation of intracoronary imaging tools to optimise PCI.
