• how laboratory tests using commonly available biomarkers can improve risk prediction in the setting of primary and secondary prevention;
• how multi-biomarker tests can be used to monitor the effects of treatment and rehabilitation programs; and
• what polygenic risk scores for coronary artery disease are, how they can be used to improve risk prediction in patients with coronary artery disease, and what problems still exist regarding their implementation in clinical practice.
