AUDIENCE

The first two days of the course are designed for trainees and consultants, either cardiologists or radiologists that are interested to learn practical skills in CCT.

The last day of the course is designed for:

  • Interventional cardiologists who are already familiar with basic cardiac CT imaging but would like to expand their knowledge and skills on its use for interventional procedures.
  • Cardiovascular Imagers that would like to expand their knowledge on the use of cardiac CT for interventional procedures and intergrade cardiac CT into the cath lab/operation theater.

PROGRAMME

The programme encompasses a mix of interactive lectures, mock exam questions followed by interactive review with the faculty, as well as heavily hands-on practical with image analysis sessions on dedicated workstations performed directly by attendees.

It also includes the review of a number of clinical cases that will be certified and contribute to the logbook of cases to submit for ESC CCT certification.

The last day of the course will cover both the theoretical and practical aspects of cardiac CT for interventional procedures focusing on PCI planning and guiding as well as on structural interventions.
