Dear members of the WG CCE,
With great pleasure, we are inviting you to participate in the 48th annual meeting of our working group, which will be held on 1 - 3 July 2024, in Graz, Austria.
After two highly successful meetings post-COVID in Toledo and Copenhagen, we are excited to organise our next standalone meeting at the Medical University of Graz. Graz is an old historic city with many modern elements located in the southeast of Austria. In addition to beautiful scenery and numerous restaurants and bars, it has a long-standing history in cardiac cellular electrophysiology, as well as state-of-the-art facilities at the recently established campus of the Medical University, making it a perfect destination for our WG meeting.
The scientific programme is organised in 5 sessions, each composed of one invited lecture and 4 short presentations, which will be selected from the submitted abstracts and will highlight the latest research updates and most promising science in our field. Industry exhibitors will present their latest solutions, and two poster sessions and our annual Carmeliet-Coraboeuf-Weidmann award lecture will complete the scientific programme. Finally, a social programme will provide opportunities for networking and meeting new and old friends.
This highly attractive format with excellent speakers and young researchers in a dynamic, interactive and welcoming atmosphere with plenty of time for posters and scientific discussion has proven itself over the years. We are convinced that this format will once again provide superb opportunities for broad exchange of knowledge and ideas within our community of basic and translational scientists working on the mechanisms of cardiac cellular electrophysiology and cardiac arrhythmias.
We look forward to welcoming you to Graz for a fantastic 48th annual meeting!
Sincerely,
Jordi Heijman – WG CCE Chairperson and local host
Ana M Gómez – WG CCE Past chairperson
Daniel Johnson – WG CCE Chairperson elect
