Dear Colleagues,
ETEV2024 is a joint congress organised by the Working Group on Thrombosis and the Working Group on Aorta and Peripheral Vascular Diseases of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC). This congress is committed to promote a fruitful multidisciplinary discourse of scientists and clinicians in the fields of thrombosis, atherosclerosis and vascular biology.
ETEV2024 offers a broad spectrum of interactive sessions, hands-on tutorials and live debates, which are designated to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and the understanding of different scientific and clinical perspectives.
Topics will include interventional, surgical and medical management of coronary artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, atrial fibrillation, stroke, aortic diseases, venous thromboembolism and cardiovascular prevention. Dedicated sessions will specifically address pharmacotherapy and the use of endovascular devices in the respective fields of cardiovascular medicine.
The scientific program will be delivered by an expert faculty consisting of top representatives in the respective fields.
One goal will be the active involvement of young researchers and clinicians, who will be invited to join discussions, contribute by presenting original clinical and translational research as well as challenging clinical cases.
The beautiful and historical city of Bologna guarantees a unique atmosphere for networking between young clinicians/scientists and experienced faculty members, which potentially opens opportunities for developing new ideas and future collaborations.
We are very much looking forward to meeting you at ETEV2024 in Bologna,
Andrea Rubboli (ESC WG Thrombosis) and Oliver Schlager (ESC WG Aorta and Peripheral Vascular Diseases)
