EHRA are happy to announce a new course, the Advanced CIED Course will take place on an in-person format in Nice, France from 1 to 3 February 2024.
Please note that there will be limited seats available and we recommend to book as early as possible.
Objectives
This course will provide physicians already trained in pacemaker and implantable defibrillator therapy, with an overview of advanced device therapies for daily clinical practice. The 2.5 days course will focus on 1) leadless pacing and extra-vascular defibrillators 2) conduction system pacing and 3) lead extraction. Interactive tutorials with renewed experts aim to provide practical tips and tricks for advanced device management.

Grant opportunities
EHRA provides a limited number of grants to facilitate onsite attendance.
The grants covers the course registration (as stated above), as well as the travels up to 500€.

Target Audience
Device specialists who have attended the EHRA Cardiac Pacing and ICD resynchronisation course and the EHRA CP exam, or who already have good experience with standard transvenous CIED implantation and follow-up who wish to take their practice to the next level.
Methodology
The course will be held over 2 and half days starting on Thursday 1 February 13:00 and ending on Saturday 3 February at 12:30 in an onsite format. Refer to programme below for more details.
