Professor Fazila-Tun-Nesa Malik

Prof. Fazila-Tun-Nesa Malik is the chief consultant cardiologist of National Heart Foundation Hospital & Research Institute. This is a 450 bedded tertiary Cardiac Care Hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She is a regular invited faculty in different international conferences. She has also been a live case operator for numerous interventional meets. Prof. Fazila Malik works in a high volume center. National Heart Foundation Hospital & Research Institute has 5 cath-labs. In 2018 this center did a total of 16,740 (sixteen thousand seven hundred and forty) cath-lab procedures, of which 4,709 (four thousand seven hundred nine) were PCI. Her areas of interest include thrombus containing lesions, left main PCI, bifurcation, calcified lesions, cardiac imaging and other complex PCI.
