Professor Constantinos Anagnostopoulos

Constantinos Anagnostopoulos is a Nuclear Medicine Physician, Research Director at the Experimental Surgery, Clinical and Translational Research Center of the BRFAA. He has previously held senior clinical and academic posts at the Royal Brompton hospital as well as the Barts & The London School of Medicine, London, UK. During the same time, he has held a number of administrative posts in professional societies and is currently President-elect of the working group of non-invasive imaging of the Hellenic Cardiological Society. He has been Chair and member of International Guideline Committees. He is principle investigator or co-investigator in numerous studies as well as co-applicant of the FP-7 funded Evaluation of Integrated Cardiac Imaging for the Detection and Characterization of Ischemic Heart Disease(EVINCI) project, the PmedGR programme, which aims to support research and innovation and the Infrafrontier-GR programme for phenotyping and archiving of model mammalian genomes.
