Mr Pieter-Jan Kellens

Pieter-Jan Kellens is Academic Assistant at the department of Medical Physics of University Ghent. He is a licensed Medical Physics Expert by the Federal Agency of Nuclear Control (FANC), Belgium. Alongside education of bachelor and master students in (radiation) physics, Pieter-Jan specializes in improving radiation safety culture in interventional cardiology in pursuit of a PhD degree in Medical Physics. His research interests include quality control and assurance of personal radiation protective equipment, radiation safety culture, Monte Carlo methods for radiation dose assessment in interventional cardiology.
