Zaza Iakobishvili, MD, PhD is a director of community cardiology department in Tel-Aviv district of Clalit Health Services since 2018. He received MD/PhD from Tbilisi State Medical University (1988) and Tbilisi Institute of Human Physiology(1996). He is board certified in internal medicine (1998) and cardiology (2001). He worked in the cardiac intensive care unit in Rabin Medical Center, Beilinson hospital in 2002-2017 and led 3 consecutive Acute Coronary Syndrome Israeli Registry (ACSIS). He has established first dedicated cardio-oncology clinic in Israel in 2013 and organised 3 International cardio-oncology meetings in Israel (2015-17-21). He is active in the ESC ACCA working group on quality of acute cardiac care. He was re-appointed a board member of cardio-oncology working group in HFA of ESC (2020). Dr. Iakobishvili is engaged in the organization of community heart failure clinics in Israel. in 2019 he joined department of cardiology in Assuta Ashdod and Ben Gurion University.
