Anita is a physician trainee at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne who has a keen interest in pursuing cardiology training. Anita completed her junior doctor years in Tamworth, Regional New South Wales where she led a health district wide quality improvement project focussed on patient care and junior doctor wellbeing. Anita is a Conjoint Fellow at the University of Newcastle and has enjoyed holding a number of leadership positions, including President of the Resident Medical Officer Association. With an appreciation for population health, maths and science Anita is currently pursuing a Masters of Public Health, which she hopes will equip her with skills to tackle population level cardiology issues in the future.
