Mr Daniel Baz-Lopez

Bristol (United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland)

I am a research technician at University of Bristol Medical School (Translational Health Science). I have been working for the last three years on large animal model of myocardial infarction and heart failure. My main interests are the molecular mechanisms involved and their potential therapeutic applications in ischemic cardiomyopathy and heart failure. I have been developing methods to asses relationships between mitochondrial genetic damage and mitochondrial-nuclear transcriptional adaptations.
