Doctor Lennert Minten

Lennert Minten is an MD-PhD Cardiology fellow at KU Leuven. He has done medical internships in the Mayo clinic and Cleveland Clinic and he has worked as a cardiologist in-training at Saint-Thomas hospital in London. His main interests lie in the field of interventional cardiology, coronary physiology and valvular heart disease. He is a (co)-author of multiple peer-reviewed articles. In September 2023, he started a visiting research scholarship at Stanford University under guidance of prof. W. Fearon. Dr. Minten is the secretary of the Belgian Young cardiology Club, part of the Belgian working group of invasive cardiology and a member of the EAPCI young Committee. His goal is to combine providing excellent patient-centered care with conducting scientific research throughout his whole career.
