Biography
Dr. Dimitrios Moysidis is a Cardiology Resident and PhD Candidate at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), focusing his research on coronary artery disease, atherosclerosis, and advanced imaging techniques. Since June 2024, Dr. Moysidis has also been a Research Associate at the University Hospital Zürich (USZ) in the Coronary Atherosclerosis Laboratory within the Cardiovascular Imaging Division, where he actively engages in research utilizing coronary CT angiography (CCTA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to study coronary atherosclerosis.
Dr. Moysidis has coordinated and contributed to several large-scale clinical studies and has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles. Fluent in English, German, and Greek, he combines his professional dedication with personal interests, including hiking, traveling, and historical literature, aligning his passions with a commitment to advancing global healthcare and medical innovation.
