I am a medical intern at Tehran University of Medical Sciences who always be interested in expanding my understanding of clinical medicine, particularly clinical cardiology. Hence, I tried to extend my research competencies by taking the MPH course, along with expanding my clinical knowledge during the MD course. I am going to finish my MD-MPH course in 2021 and the more I continue, the more I am certain that I want to be a cardiologist in the future. I am working as a research assistant at the leading academic centers in the field of cardiology and non-communicable diseases in Iran, which played a major role in delineating my interests. My research activity focused mainly on the pharmacological, biochemical, and molecular characterization of cardiovascular diseases and cancer and is documented by several publications in peer-reviewed international scientific journals, and communications in international and national congresses.
