Ms Nicola Farrand

Nicola is an Emergency Cardiology Advanced Nurse Practitioner in St. James's Hospital, Dublin. She has over 14 years experience providing acute care to patients in the Emergency Department. Having undertaken all her training at Trinity College Dublin she is currently a member of the Trinity Centre for Practice and Healthcare Innovation within the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Trinity College, which works collaboratively with healthcare providers in St. James's Hospital and other facilities, to translate evidence into improved patient care and outcomes. Her research interests include Acute Cardiovascular care, Covid-19 and cardiovascular disease, Clinical audit, Advanced nursing practice, Resuscitation and Digital health.
