Dr Kam Wong is a PhD candidate at Westmead Applied Research Centre and a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the School of Rural Health, University of Sydney and Bathurst Rural Clinical School, Western Sydney University. Dr Wong is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Before his career in medicine, he was an engineering consultant in process control and management. He has been actively involved in multi-disciplinary research projects. His PhD thesis is about implementing and evaluating atrial fibrillation screening in the community using digital health technologies. Dr Wong has published his research in national and international journals. Besides English, Kam speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.
